Hi Blogger – Thanks for your understanding. I think what it comes down to is that in my niche, I have so many sites of my own that are highly ranked, that people end up buying my books directly from my sites instead of others who were advertising as an affiliate.

I understand completely. Unethical affiliates can tarnish your rep. Hey – if you only had one affiliate sale in three years, I doubt you’re losing any sleep over it!

Hello Blogger – Thank you for your kind words. Actually, I used to have an affiliate program, and I did for several years. In those 3 or so years I only sold one book through an affiliate. Then, I started seeing my ads on sites where I didn’t want them to be, promoting sex tourism in the Philippines and such. That is why I discontinued the program. I may try it again in the future, it’s not at the top of my priority list, though. I hope you understand why.

I’ve read some of Bob’s other books about the Philippines, and I can see they are kept up to date. Many e-books are not – they are full on information that is terribly dated and not of much use. Bob is one of the good guys! Now, if he just had an affiliate program… hint hint!
